Dear Pastor Duong Quoc Tung:
On behalf of Adventist World Radio and the General Conference I
want to extend our most sincere appreciation for the work you are
doing to preach the Three Angels' Message in VietNam. God has surely
brought you to this crucial end-time ministry because of His great
desire to see the gospel preached in your homeland.
As we were praying for someone who could produce strong spiritual
messages on a daily basis we are convinced that God had already
chosen you and prepared you. We are so grateful that you found it
in your heart to respond to the invitation of your Church and begin
production of programs that would bring hope to your countrymen.
When that process began several years ago we had no idea of how
effective it would become. As we see the letters from listeners
and hear of their response to the gospel, we have no doubt that
your leadership as speaker-director of the General Conference-sponsored
ministry was God's plan.
I am personally pleased because my family and I learned to love
the people of VietNam during the time we served in Southeast Asia.
We know that the load you carry is a heavy one, including regular
program production and shepherding these local congregations as
well. I know you find good help grom the members of your churches
and no doubt it is helpful in your preaching to be involved in the
lives of real people and not just with a radio audience. I am sure
God is the one who sustains you on your journey.
Only in eternity will we know all of those people who have come
to know our God and His Son Jesus Christ through the broadcast partnership
of you and your family with Adventist World Radio. We pray regularly
that He will sustain you, give you protection, good health, and
daily creativity.
God bless you, my brother.
Sincerely,
Don Jacobsen
